Having spent the vast majority of his career working in financial services, Sam was appointed Managing Director of Tower House Wealth Management in 2020. Sam is responsible for the day to day running of the business as well as working with his own portfolio of clients.
Sam provides holistic financial planning advice to a wide range of sectors, specialising in the private client and SME marketplace. He is often involved in advice for owner managed SME businesses throughout the life cycle of the company – initially starting with all elements of personal and businesses protection, progressing to advice in relation to the reinvestment or extraction of profits and ultimately advice regarding the successful exit* and subsequent income planning strategy for business sales.
The main areas that Sam covers are Protection, Investment, Retirement and Inheritance tax planning. He prides himself on having a professional and personal approach to working with clients and their families. Clients often comment on his ability to explain things in a simple manner, avoiding the complex language used in financial services.
Sam holds the highly regarded AF3 qualification which enables him to provide advice to clients in relation to defined benefit pensions, an area that requires incredibly rigorous advice. He enjoys helping clients understand the legislation and make informed decisions about their retirement planning.
